Physically challenged Travelers

At Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA) we are aware of how important it is for the physically challenged to have adequate services and facilities to make their trip a pleasant one.

We recommend:

  • When you make your flight reservations ask your travel agent to arrange for a wheel chair with the airline you will travel with. Do not hesitate to request the wheel chair upon you check in.

  • If traveling with your own wheelchair you can use it up to the airplane door, but you may not board with it. The airline personnel will transfer you to a special airplane wheelchair and take you to your seat. Your personal wheelchair will be stored in the luggage compartment and will be ready for you when you reach your destination

  • Request a seat facing a wall instead of those facing the back of another seat. They have a lot more space and offer easy access

Remember that at all ASA Network airports, we have implemented the Total Inclusion Program in order to make traveling for the physically challenged easier.

For further information please contact your airline.
